This policy covers plekko.eu and its subdomains. The Plekko mobile app uses no cookies at all — what the app stores on your device is described in section 10 of our Privacy Notice.
Why there is no cookie banner
Under Dutch law (Article 11.7a Telecommunicatiewet, which implements the EU ePrivacy rules) your consent is needed before a website stores or reads information on your device — unless that storage is strictly necessary to deliver a service you asked for.
The public pages of plekko.eu set no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and load no third-party scripts, fonts, images or tags of any kind. Everything the site needs is served from plekko.eu itself. The only cookies we set are the strictly necessary ones listed below, which fall under the exemption in Article 11.7a(3). That is why you are not asked to accept anything.
We re-check this list whenever the website changes, and we will introduce a consent flow before setting any cookie that requires one.
Cookies we set
Strictly necessary — no consent required
These are only set once you actively start a partner application. Browsing the public site sets nothing. The account-deletion page sets no cookies, has no student sign-in and only opens an email request to privacy@plekko.eu.

Both are first-party, marked HttpOnly so scripts cannot read them, Secure so they are only sent over HTTPS, and SameSite=Strict so they are not sent from other sites.
Analytics cookies
None. No analytics service is integrated into the website or the app. We use no Google Analytics, no Meta Pixel, no Hotjar, no Mixpanel, no Amplitude and no other measurement or session-recording tool.
Advertising and marketing cookies
None. Plekko carries no advertising and sets no marketing cookies.
Third-party cookies
None. The site loads nothing from another domain — including web fonts, which are served from plekko.eu rather than fetched from an external font service.
Your choices
Because we set nothing that requires consent, there is no preference for you to manage. You can still clear our cookies at any time through your browser settings, and partner cookies are cleared when you sign out or when they expire.
Blocking the two strictly necessary cookies will prevent the partner application from working, but the rest of plekko.eu — including the account-deletion page — will be unaffected.
Changes to this policy
If we add any cookie or similar storage, we will update this page and — where consent is required — ask you before it is set.
